How are your lathe‑cut records made?
Our records are cut in real time onto discs using a diamond stylus
How do they sound compared to pressed vinyl?
Sound quality is similar, but because lathe cuts are handmade there may be slightly more surface noise—especially in quieter sections. They also play a little quieter than pressed vinyl, so you may need to turn up the volume.
Will they work on all turntables?
Some auto‑play or suitcase‑style turntables can struggle with the lead‑in groove, especially on longer records. We recommend ordering a test cut if you’re unsure
Why do records vary slightly?
All records, sleeves and labels are made by hand, so small variations may occur. - Each one is unique!
Should I order a test cut?
If you’re new to lathe‑cut records or want to be sure about sound and appearance, we strongly recommend buying a test cut first.
